Sister status & transfers
Members who currently belong to other IATSE Locals, can apply for Sister Status with IATSE Local 856. Sister’s will be dispatched out for calls when all members are unavailable.
All Applicants must meet the current departmental requirements of IATSE Local 856, and provide certificates if required.
A current resume, and a letter of Good Standing from your home local must be submitted along with your application.
Sister Applications can be submitted to the Operations Manager.
Please complete and return the Sister Application along with a qualification form for the department you are applying to.
TRANSFER IN
Members looking to transfer in to IATSE Local 856 can reach out to Operations Manager for any inquiries.
- Members must submit a letter of good standing from their home local that includes what Positions you hold in your local, as these will be the positions you have in Local 856.
- Any Certificate(s) required for the IATSE 856 department you are transferring into.
- $225.00 Transfer fee.
TRANSFERS OUT
IATSE Local 856 members who wish to transfer out should first reach out to that local for their requirements/ fees. Members must be in good standing, and until the transfer has been finalized with the other local, Union dues commitments remain with Local 856.
