Training Reimbursement
COURSE REIMBURSEMENT — FOR MEMBERS
Members can take training that pertains to their department and apply for reimbursement. If the training is under $400, members can submit the receipt and proof of completion and receive up to 75% reimbursement*.
The following approved courses* are covered 100%: WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, First Aid, Mental Health First Aid and Food Handlers.
*Reimbursements are in the form of a dues credit.

COURSE REIMBURSEMENT FOR TRAINING OVER $400
If a member would like to take a course that is not appear of the list of approved courses, or that costs more than $400, a “Course Funding Request Form” must be completed and submitted BEFORE the course takes place. The Executive Board will review the request and make a determination on funding. All such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
